The homepage is the toy. Every note sits in a major pentatonic scale, so nothing sounds wrong.

## Write a song as a link (for AI assistants)

You can hand someone a song by writing it into the link. Opening the link loads the song on the paper, ready to play and remix. Nothing is sent anywhere; the song lives in the part of the URL after `#`.

### Format

`https://makereal.music/#` followed by `key=value` pairs joined with `&`.

The loop is 2 bars of 16th notes: **32 steps**. Each pattern is a string of up to 32 characters, one per step. A shorter pattern repeats to fill the 32 steps (so `x...` is a hit every beat). Spaces and `|` are ignored, so you can write bar lines like `x...x...|x...x...`.

Pitches: melody `0`-`9` = C4 D4 E4 G4 A4 C5 D5 E5 G5 A5. Bass `0`-`4` = C2 D2 E2 G2 A2. (Major pentatonic in C.)

Each digit starts a new note. To make one long note, follow it with `-` (`4---` is one note four steps long; `4444` is four short notes).
